Paving Project Begins In Freehold Township

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ — Freehold residents should be aware of construction work that will begin on Jackson Mills Road on Wednesday.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, paving work will take place on Jackson Mills Road (Monmouth County Rt. 23) between Strickland Road and Eaglenest Road, officials said.

During construction, a detour will be in place for drivers. Officials are urging residents to plan an alternate route to minimize travel disruptions.

"As road work can cause unexpected delays, we encourage all drivers to avoid using Jackson Mills Road if possible," officials said. "We assure you that every effort will be made to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible."
