Pedestrian Fatally Struck On Route 9 In Freehold: Police
The incident happened at approximately 9:08 PM on State Highway 9 South in the area of a McDonald's.
FREEHOLD, NJ — A pedestrian died after being hit by a car traveling southbound on Route 9 in the area of a McDonald's on Thursday evening, according to the Freehold Township Police Department.
The 28-year-old victim from Freehold was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead.
The incident happened at around 9:08 p.m. on State Highway 9 South in the area of McDonald's. Police are still investigating.
