FREEHOLD, NJ - A pedestrian-involved motor vehicle crash in Freehold has prompted commuting delays in the area Thursday morning, authorities said.

As of 5:04 a.m., there's a crash investigation and a pedestrian accident on US 9 northbound at NJ 79/Schank Road in Freehold Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

All lanes are currently closed and detoured, the agency said.
