The Freehold Township and Borough Police Departments will be heavily enforcing against drunk driving in the coming weeks.

Law enforcement officers from Freehold will be cracking down on drunk drivers as part of the 2014 Labor Day âDrive Sober or Get Pulled Overâ campaign.
Beginning August 15 and running through September 1, local and state law enforcement officers will be conducting sobriety checkpoints and roving patrols, looking for motorists who may be driving while intoxicated.
âDrive Sober or Get Pulled Overâ is a national campaign designed to raise awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving through high-visibility enforcement and public education tools, including posters, banners and mobile video display signs. Launched across the U.S. in 1999, the program works to combat drunk driving during the busy summer travel season, including the Labor Day holiday period.
