Power Outage Planned For Main Street In Freehold Borough

FREEHOLD BOROUGH, NJ — Some Freehold Borough residents may lose power due to a transformer being replaced on Tuesday, borough officials said.
Starting Tuesday at 8 p.m., JCP&L will be replacing a transformer on East Main Street.
While the replacement is taking place, power will be interrupted for select addresses and continue for 16 hours, officials said.

Businesses affected by the power outage are being asked to plan accordingly. Officials are asking residents to avoid unnecessary trips to the area during construction and obey posted detours and travel restrictions.
