Registration Opens For Freehold Township Spring Basketball Clinic
The spring train and game clinic is open to residents in grades two through eight and will run from March 17 to May 5.
FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ — Registration has officially opened for Freehold Township’s 2025 Spring Basketball Train & Game Clinic for residents in grades 2-8.
Throughout the program, participants will be able to work and build on skills such as ball handling, footwork, conditioning, game IQ, proper court spacing, shooting, rebounding, team drills and sportsmanship, officials said.
The clinics are limited to 20 participants per session (there will be six classes per session) and will run from March 17 to May 5 at the Barkalow School Main Gym.

Here is the schedule for the clinic:
- Session 1: Mondays (6:00-7:15 p.m., Grades 2 & 3 – No Class on 4/14 and 4/21)
- Session 2: Mondays (7:15-8:15 p.m., Grades 2 & 3 – No Class on 4/14 and 4/21)
- Session 3: Tuesdays (6:30-7:45 p.m., Grades 4 & 5 – No Class on 4/15)
- Session 4: Tuesdays (7:45-9:00 p.m., Grades 6, 7 & 8 – No Class on 4/15)
- Session 5: Wednesdays (6:30-7:45 p.m., Grades 4 & 5 – No Class on 4/16)
- Session 6: Wednesdays (7:45-9:00 p.m., Grades 6, 7 & 8 – No class on 4/16)
There will be a $130 fee per session. For more information, you can call the Recreation Office at 732-294-2190.
