Rep. Andy Kim To Open Monmouth Office In Downtown Freehold
Congressman Andy Kim will have an open house at his new Freehold location on May 2 at 30 Mechanic St., in the Borough Hall building.

FREEHOLD, NJ — Rep. Andy Kim of the 3rd Congressional District will soon add a local constituent services office in Freehold, and he is inviting the public to meet him and visit the new location.
Kim (NJ-03) will host an open house at his new office at 30 Mechanic St, Freehold, on Tuesday, May 2, at 11 a.m.
The address will be familiar to borough residents as that of the Borough Hall.

Kim will have a separate office suite on the second floor of the building, said Freehold Business Administrator Stephen J. Gallo.
Gallo said residents will often stop in and ask for help with such things as Social Security or passports. So now the borough can direct them to a nearby site. "It's one-stop shopping," he said.

Kim represents Allentown, Englishtown, Freehold Borough, Freehold Township, Holmdel, Manalapan, Marlboro, Millstone, Roosevelt and Upper Freehold in Monmouth County, so this is a centrally located office for those municipalities.
The event is open to the public and will give constituents an opportunity to get to speak with Kim, meet members of the Congressman’s staff, get to know the new office space, and hear from the Congressman about how he and his office can help address people’s issues with federal agencies.
“The day-to-day help we provide people through our district offices is essential to delivering for New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District. I am excited to be opening our doors in Freehold and keep working to ensure everyone across our district is able to get the support and resources they need through our office,” said Kim.
He said in a statement he hopes to "build off our success last Congress returning over $30 million dollars to neighbors and closing over 5,600 cases. I look forward to keeping this hard work going."
He said the open house can help Monmouth County residents get to know his constituent services assistance and how his office - and he - can help.
The new office at 30 Mechanic St. in Freehold will be open and serving constituents during normal business hours, five days a week, his staff said.
Due to congressional redistricting after the 2020 census, New Jersey's 3rd Congressional District has changed.
As of Jan. 3, Kim no longer represents Ocean County but will continue to represent nearly all of Burlington County and now additionally represents parts of Monmouth and Mercer counties, including Allentown, Englishtown, Freehold Borough, Freehold Township, Holmdel, Manalapan, Marlboro, Millstone, Roosevelt and Upper Freehold in Monmouth County, and East Windsor, Hamilton, Hightstown, Lawrence and Robbinsville in Mercer County.
The Freehold office is the second of Kim’s two new district offices to open this year, according to a news release from his staff. Kim recently opened a new district office in Mercer County, maintaining offices in Willingboro in Burlington County and in Washington, D.C.
Starting May 2, all four offices will be open and available to continue serving constituents. In the meantime, community members can contact the Hamilton, Willingboro, and Washington D.C. offices and also reach out via the website.
Kim is the ranking member on the Military Personnel Subcommittee, and a member of the House Armed Services Committee, the Foreign Affairs Committee, and the Select Committee on China.
