Route 33 Bridge Over Conrail Railroad In Freehold Closed

FREEHOLD, NJ — The Route 33 bridge over Conrail railroad in Freehold is closed for emergency structure repairs, New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) announced.

The bridge is located between Valero and Weaser’s Ices and will be closed for about three days, according to officials.

  • Drivers wishing to continue on Route 33B should continue on Route 33B to Halls Mill Road
  • Turn right onto Halls Mill Road
  • Take the ramp to Route 33 westbound
  • Turn right onto Route 79N/South Street
  • Turn right onto Route 33B

Message signs will be used to provide advance notification to drivers. The precise timing of the work depends on weather and other factors.
