FREEHOLD, NJ - A motor vehicle crash on Route 33 that downed wires and a utility pole has prompted commuting delays in the area Friday morning, authorities said.

As of5:42 a.m., there's a crash and downed pole on Route 33 in both directions near Route 9 in Freehold Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

All lanes are currently closed, the agency said.

There are no current power outages in the township associated with the crash, according to JCP&L.
