Freehold is finally getting a new Charter School to the meet the needs of every Freehold student!

For years parents have been asking for a new learning environment for their children where the curriculum is designed to develop 21st century skills that prepare students when they are young for careers in STEM while developing life skills with Art, Music and Health and Fitness.

At The Four Rivers STEAM Charter School ( Freehold School Of The Future) students explore hands on learning and project based activities using the literacy and mathematical skills that all students must master and perform as they present creative projects that are geared to the community and help to improve the lives of others. They will design buildings, neighborhoods, energy development and imagine the works around them using heir engineering and scientific learning to make things work. Multilingual Learners will advance very quickly as their natural talents will be developed as they are learning a new language. All students will get to learn languages of their choice , and explore culture to help pave the way for competition that made this country great! Every child at the Four Rivers STEAM Charter School (Freehold School Of The Future ) will graduate with everything they will need to succeed in a competitive multicultural environment where all ambitions and achievements will be respected and revered.

Every parent who signs our petition will automatically have their child entered in our Lottery Program. We include surrounding districts in our lottery as well as Freehold students with seats being filled with Freehold First and all vacant seats with Marlboro, Manalapan, Colts Neck and Howell.

As of our last application that was reviewed by the New Jersey Department of Education, we were asked to include all Freehold Test Scores as 1 district. This would improve the requirement to serve all Freehold students equally and equitably without stigmas of socioeconomic standing. The NJDOE has asked us show the first 4 years of enrollment where our initial grades that we open with, K-3 and grade 6 will be represented as K-8 by year 4. Each year a new Kindergarten will be admitted with 72 students as they move up to the next grade each year. After grade 5, all students will move up to our middle school for grades 6-8. There are no lapses in any grade which the NJ DOE misinterpreted our enrollment plan.

We have a website for you to use to sign the petition. But you can also represent other parents who want this school to move forward through videos, letters to the State Education Department, as well as Community Meetings, Zoom Meetings and our Sunday Breakfast Program at the IHOP on Route 9.

This is your school! There is no bullying or antisemitism or prejudice or injustice to any ethnic group allowed at our school! We foster community, brotherhood and love of our friends as well as respect for all diverse identities. We practice good will and create a culture where we live together in peace as we’ll strive to create a better world where all humans live in peace and harmony. That should be what a Freehold School teaches.
