Seafood Fest, Book Sales, Parades: This Weekend In Monmouth County

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — Looking for something to do this weekend?

As October starts to come to a close, there are plenty of fun activities happening around Monmouth County to celebrate the autumn season.

Halloween Farmer’s Market
Join Calgo Gardens for their Halloween Farmer's Market on Saturday. From noon to 6 p.m., attendees will be able to shop from artisan bakers, a crafts corner, candle stands, local wineries and more.

New Jersey Seafood Fest
Love seafood? Check out the NJ Seafood Fest at Bell Works on Saturday.

From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., you can enjoy everything from lobster rolls to live music, kids' activities, a sangria garden and more.

Hazlet Fall Book Sale
Looking for a new book to read? The Friends of the Hazlet Library will be holding a fall book sale at the Hazlet Library on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Book sales start at $0.50, and attendees can fill up a tote bag for $10. Only cash will be accepted.

Red Bank Halloween Parade
Red Bank Parks and Recreation will host the Borough’s 76th annual Halloween Parade on Sunday.

Lineup for the parade begins at 1 p.m. at E Bergen Place and Hudson Avenue. The parade will begin at 2 p.m. and will end with a celebration in the White Street parking lot, featuring prizes and goodie bags.

The Red Bank School of Rock will provide live music during the event. The event is expected to last until 4 p.m.

Marlboro Farmer's Market
Enjoy one of the last weeks at the Marlboro Farmer's Market on Sunday. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. you can shop from a variety of vendors such as Besty & Lola’s, SoGood Guacamole, Nessie Tea and more.

In addition, attendees will be able to shop for crafts and gifts from vendors such as C-Glass Bouqiue, Stix & Stones Apparel, and Woodbox Soap.
