Vehicle Crash And Low-Hanging Utility Lines Close Roads In Freehold
Halls Mill Road and Bar Harbor Road are both facing closures due to a motor vehicle crash and low-hanging utility lines, police said.

FREEHOLD, NJ — Halls Mill Road and Bar Harbor Road are facing road closures due to a motor vehicle accident and low-hanging utility lines, Freehold Police said Wednesday morning.
According to officials, Halls Mill Road southbound is closed from Threebrooks Road to Elton Adelphia Road (CR 524) due to a motor vehicle crash with downed power lines.
There are currently minor injuries and a pole down, police said.

In addition to the Halls Mill Road closure, officials said Bar Harbor Road is also closed in both directions at Elton Adelphia Road due to low hanging utility lines.
Drivers looking to detour from Halls Mill Road should travel the full length of Threebrooks Road to Route 9, according to police. From there, take Route 9 to the jughandle at Route 79 then travel south on Route 9 to Elton Adelphia Road (CR 524).
