Wednesday Events Include Artistic Opportunities

Fans of the arts in Freehold will have some unique opportunities to learn and experience different ideas in the town and in neighboring Manalapan.

The Cecilian Music Club will be hosting a music hour hosted by Alan Wasserman. The meeting will focus on classical music that was written for the synthesizer. The meeting is open to the public and starts at 7 p.m. at 3681 Route 9.

Also tonight the Freehold Art Society will host a meeting at the Monmouth County Library headquarters in Manalapan. The meeting will include a presentation by Dan Lieb, a technical illustrator and scuba diver entitled “Sight Plans and Shipwreck Drawings- a Review of Shipwreck Illustrations.”

The National Weather Service is calling for a sunny day on Wednesday with a high near 72 and a low of 50 at night. Going through the rest of the week the forecast should be very much the same for our area for the weather.
