Woman Charged With Kicking Officer During Arrest
Arrest stemmed from criminal mischief incident.

When the Freehold Borough Police Department responded to arrest a local resident following a criminal mischief incident last month, police say the woman decided not to go quietly.
On Sept. 22, Kiara Wright, 21, of Kingsley Way was charged with criminal mischief after breaking the victim’s glass coffee table which was valued at $250. She also is alleged to have broken several potted plants and other decorations outside the person’s house valued at $100.
Wright is also charged with resisting arrest. When the officer on the scene attempted to arrest her, she is alleged to have kicked them in the leg and hip area when they attempted to take her to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
