3 Dogs Abandoned In Pouring Rain Outside Of South Jersey Animal Shelter

The Humane Society of Atlantic County is seeking the person responsible for leaving three Shih Tzu dogs in the rain early Wednesday.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — The Humane Society of Atlantic County is seeking a man who apparently left three small dogs outside of the shelter in the pouring rain early Wednesday.

Video shared by the humane society (see below) shows an unidentified person removing the Shih Tzu mixes from a white car and dropping them over shelter's fence.

"The dogs were left in terrible condition," the humane society said. Photos of the dogs shared by the humane society show them with muddy, matted fur.

Anyone with information on who may have left these dogs is urged to contact the Atlantic City Police Department at (609) 347-5779.
