• Rutgers, Stockton Launch Deep Sea Buoy 3 Miles Off Jersey Shore To Collect Ocean Data (patch.com) — A new Rutgers–Stockton partnership will place a high-tech ocean data buoy off Tuckerton, with Stockton’s Galloway-based marine programs playing a key role in operating and studying it. Data from the buoy will flow to research stations in the Mullica River–Great Bay estuary, giving local students hands-on experience with cutting-edge marine technology and deepening understanding of nearby coastal waters.
