Galloway Nurse Is Shore Medical Center Employee Of The Month

SOMERS POINT, NJ — Shore Medical Center has named a Galloway nurse as their December employee of the month.

ER nurse Bill Bingham, RN, was named employee of the month for "consistently delivering outstanding service and embodying the organization's mission, vision, and values," Shore Medical Center said in a news release.

Bingham began his career at Shore in November of 2023 and "embodies what it means to be a true team player," the release reads.

"He consistently takes full responsibility for the care and well-being of his assigned patients, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care," Shore Medical Center said. "He is also frequently seen sitting with family members, offering support and reassurance during challenging moments."

Bingham can often be seen sitting with family members to offer support during difficult moments. He is well-known for his attentiveness and composure, managing his own patients and remaining aware of the needs of others in the ER as well.

"Bill demonstrates an exceptional ability to maintain composure even in the most difficult and emotional situations," said Sherri Richmond, MSN, RN, Director of Emergency Services. "Patients and their family members love him and the care he provides. Bill is respected and well-liked by nurses, physicians, technicians, and housekeepers. He is a joy to work with and an asset to the Emergency Department and to Shore Medical Center."

Bingham also is often the first to volunteer for additional shifts and offer help. Outside of work, he enjoys going to the gym, baking and cooking, and spending time with his Australian Shepherd, Finnegan.
