Man Fatally Shot In Head Outside Of Atlantic City Apartment Complex: Prosecutor
The 40-year-old was found lying on the sidewalk outside of the apartment complex with a gunshot wound to his head, authorities said.
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — A homicide investigation is underway after a man was shot in the head and killed outside of an Atlantic City apartment complex last week, authorities said.
Atlantic City police got a 911 call Thursday at 8:53 p.m. regarding a man lying on the sidewalk outside of the Shore Park apartments, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.
The man, 40-year-old Atlantic City resident Robert Stanley Davis, was unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his head, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Southern Regional Medical Examiner's Office performed an autopsy and determined Davis's cause of death to be a gunshot wound and the manner of death to be homicide, authorities said.
