Ocean City Board of Realtors Holds Annual Fundraising Golf Outing at the Greate Bay Country Club Oct. 15

The Ocean City Board of Realtors will hold its annual Fall Golf Event at the Greate Bay Country Club on Oct. 15. The outing will raise money for the Ocean City Ferguson-Foglio VFW Post 6650, which provides services for local veterans.

An Early Bird rate of $120 per golfer is available through Sept. 15. After that date, the fee rises to $140. The ticket price includes golf, lunch, dinner with awards and an auction. The club is located at 901 Mays Landing Rd., Somers Point.

“In 2014, The Fall Golf Event raised over $20,000 for the VFW Post. We invite you to join us again for a fun day of golf that will help raise funds for our local veterans’ VFW Post 6650,” said Damon Bready, Chair, Fundraising Committee.
Registration starts at 11 a.m. The Shotgun Start is at 12:30 p.m. Dinner, the awards ceremony and a silent auction begins at 6 p.m. Dinner tickets alone are available for $50 per person.

Prizes will be awarded for the tournament winner and runner-up, closest to the pin, hole-in-one, putting challenge, and longest drive.

Corporate sponsorships are available which include Dinner Sponsor, Cocktail Hour Sponsor, Lunch Sponsor, Hole-in-one Sponsor, Putting Contest Sponsor, Golf Cart Sponsor, Golf Ball Sponsor, Beverage Cart Sponsor, Hole Sponsor and Closest to the Pin Sponsor. Unique to this tournament is the Commemorative Pin Flag Sponsor. The sponsor can commemorate a loved one by sponsoring a personalized pin flag and after the event will be able to take the pin flag home as a memorial.
