Presentation on Pinelands Pipeline Set for Wednesday

A special presentation 7 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 16) at the Unitarian Congregation of Pomona will address issues related to a proposed natural gas pipeline through the Pinelands to the B.L. England Generating Station in Upper Township.

Theresa Lettman will speak about the Pinelands, the history, boundaries and the rules and regulations. Scientist Kevin Heatley, a restoration ecologist will address the impacts of an actual pipeline through the Pinelands and will be able to answer all questions. Finally, Professor of Biology and Director of NJ 350.org Ron Hutchison will give an overview of how gas plants affect climate change.
