• Rutgers, Stockton Launch Deep Sea Buoy 3 Miles Off Jersey Shore To Collect Ocean Data (patch.com) — A new high-tech ocean data buoy will soon link Rutgers’ offshore LEO observatory with Stockton University’s marine programs based in Galloway, strengthening local research on storms, water quality, and coastal ecosystems. Stockton’s Galloway campus and its Mullica River field station will give students hands-on access to cutting-edge marine technology and research vessels just a short drive from town. 
• Boys indoor track Fab 50, Dec. 18: Familiar faces & new talent lead first rankings (nj.com subscription) — Galloway gets a brief spotlight as Stockton University hosts top New Jersey runners during last spring’s NJSIAA Non-Public A meet, where Union Catholic’s Keandre Kelly placed third in his 400-meter heat. The main focus is NJ.com’s first Fab 50 rankings of boys indoor track athletes statewide, highlighting returning stars and emerging talent as the 2025–26 season begins.
