EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ - Flooding on Route 40 in both directions has prompted traffic delays in the area Saturday morning, authorities said.

As of 9:30 a.m., there’s flooding on Rt. 40 in both directions east of CR 608/Franklin Avenue in Egg Harbor Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

All lanes are currently closed, the agency said.
