Runaway Goats Rescued By Galloway Police

The pair of goats were caught trying to take a stroll down Route 9.

GALLOWAY, NJ — Loose dogs are a familiar sight, and cats are always roaming. But how about a loose goat or two? That's what happened in Galloway this week.

The pair of goats decided to leave their mini farm and take a stroll on Route 9, Galloway police said.

Luckily, Galloway officers Kemp and Dooney were able to rescue the two.

"Knowing that's not the safest place for a walk, our officers gave them a courtesy ride home," police said.

After a trip in the police car, these "kids" got home safely. And one even bleated out a "thanks" to Dooney.
