• All-State Second Team boys soccer selections, 2025 (nj.com subscription) — Glen Ridge soccer standout Max Fleischer has been named to NJ Advance Media’s 2025 Boys Soccer All-State Second Team after a huge junior season. He scored 27 goals and 23 assists, including big postseason performances that helped cement his status as one of Essex County’s and New Jersey’s most dangerous offensive threats.
   

• Watch video of 'Grinch' duo in North Jersey package thefts (northjersey.com) — Packages were reportedly stolen from porches in several North Jersey towns, including Glen Ridge, by a man and woman dubbed “Mr. and Mrs. Grinch.” Fair Lawn police say the pair were arrested after a traffic stop revealed a car full of packages that investigators linked to thefts across the region.
