1 Hospitalized In Gloucester Township Fire Sunday: Fire Officials
Several 911 calls reported fire and smoke coming from the apartment with people trapped inside, fire officials said.
GLOUCESTER, NJ - One person was hospitalized Sunday following an apartment fire in Gloucester Township, fire officials said.
The fire was reported off of Lower Landing Road Sunday afternoon, the Camden County firefighters’ union, IAFF Local 3249, said in a statement.
Several 911 calls reported fire and smoke coming from the apartment with people trapped inside, fire officials said.

One person was rescued from the apartment; paramedics transported the injured person to an area hospital for evaluation and treatment, fire officials said.
The fire was quickly knocked down and extinguished with one hose line.
