2 Black Horse Pike Teams Make High School Football Playoffs
The Timber Creek and Triton regional high school football teams begin their playoff journeys on the road.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Two teams from the Black Horse Pike Regional School District have qualified for the high school football playoffs, and both begin their journeys on the road.
Timber Creek is the No. 5 seed in the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group 4 playoffs, according to nj.com. The Chargers visit No. 4 Colts Neck for a noon kickoff Saturday.
Timber Creek made the playoffs despite a 3-6 record, according to Max Preps. The wins include a 20-14 win over rival Highland, as well as victories over Moorestown and Clearview. Colts Neck is 5-3.

The winner of Saturday's game plays the winner of the game between No. 1 Winslow and No. 8 Hightstown in the semifinals. The Central Jersey Group 4 champion will play the South Jersey Group 4 champion in a regional championship game at a neutral site early next month.
Triton is the seventh seed in the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group 3 playoffs, according to nj.com. The Mustangs visit No. 2 Woodrow Wilson Saturday afternoon, 1 p.m.

After starting the season 0-2, Triton won six straight games, according to Max Preps. However, the Mustangs are coming off a 43-0 loss to Hammonton. Woodrow Wilson is 5-2.
The winner of Saturday's game plays the winner of the game between No. 3 Manasquan and No. 6 Holmdel in the semifinals. Rumson-Fair Haven is the No. 1 overall seed in the group.
The Central Jersey Group 3 champion will play the South Jersey Group 3 champion in a regional championship game at a neutral site in December.
