2 Drivers Seriously Injured In Head-On White Horse Pike Crash

Both drivers were hospitalized, including one who was flown to the hospital.

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, NJ — Two drivers were seriously injured after a head-on crash Friday on the White Horse Pike in Winslow Township, police said.

It happened just before noon by Pump Branch Road. Police believe a vehicle, which they identified as "Vehicle #1," was traveling east on the White Horse Pike, crossed into the westbound lane and hit Vehicle #2 head-on.

The driver of Vehicle #1 was flown to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where an ambulance took the second driver.

Police said the crash involved entrapment but did not clarify who was entrapped. The drivers' identities and conditions were also unavailable as of 3 p.m. Friday.

The White Horse Pike was closed for several hours.
