Powerball Ticket From Gloucester Twp. Wins Major Prize

The Powerball jackpot has grown to one of the largest-ever at more than $1.5 billion.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Three Powerball tickets from Camden County stores won $50,000 prizes on Saturday, including one from a Wawa in Gloucester Township.

Powerball interest has heightened with the jackpot growing to one of the largest in lottery history. The estimated jackpot is $1.6 billion for Monday night's drawing.

Three tickets from Camden County secured $50,000 apiece by matching four white balls and the Power Ball on Saturday.

The tickets were purchased at the following locations, according to lottery officials:

  • Wawa at 511 Berlin-Cross Keys Rd. in Gloucester Township (Sicklerville address)
  • Wawa at 825 N Black Horse Pike, Runnemede
  • Winslow C Store at 172 S Route 73 in Winslow Township (Hammonton address)

Saturday's winning numbers were 04, 05, 28, 52 and 69. The Power Ball was 20, and the multiplier was 03.

Double Play numbers were 05, 08, 19, 23 and 43. The Double Play was 06.

The jackpot stands at $1.6 billion with a lump-sum payment option of $735.3 million. It is the fourth-largest prize available in Powerball history.

Each ticket carries 1 in 292.2 million odds to win the jackpot. The odds of getting struck by lighting are far greater at 1 in 15,300.
