2 Jackpot-Winning Lottery Tickets Sold By Same Camden County Store
Another NJ retailer sold 2 jackpot winners the night before. Here's why that may have happened.
PINE HILL, NJ — Luck struck twice at a roadside convenience store in Camden County.
One Stop Shoppe in Pine Hill sold two New Jersey Lottery tickets that split the $201,948 jackpot during Tuesday's Jersey Cash 5 contest. Each ticket generated $100,974.
The winning numbers were 05, 06, 09, 27 and 28, with an XTRA number of 04. The retailer, located at 802 Turnersville Rd., will receive $2,000 for each winning ticket.

Coincidentally, two tickets purchased from the same North Jersey store secured Monday's Pick-6 jackpot.
Lottery officials can't disclose whether either pair of winning tickets was purchased by the same person or group, since the state allows lottery winners to remain anonymous. But it's not unprecedented for someone to get multiple winning tickets, an NJ Lottery spokesperson told Patch.

"We have seen in the past two family members purchasing tickets using the same lucky numbers, one person purchasing multiple tickets for some reason, and other odd but lucky stories," said Dean Ialacci.
Additionally, all winning numbers in both jackpots were 31 or lower, meaning they could correspond with a birthday, anniversary or another special date on the calendar, lottery officials said.
