3 Airlifted From Wreckage After Crash Sends Cars Into Camden Co. Woods: Police
Bothe vehicles left the roadway in subsequent crashes as one of them hit a pole and overturned.
WATERFORD, NJ — Three people were airlifted to the hospital after a crash that sent two vehicles into the woods Wednesday in Camden County, authorities said.
The crash happened just before 4:30 p.m. on Jackson Road near Ashland Avenue in Waterford.
Both vehicles were traveling eastbound on Jackson Road. The first car, which contained a driver and a passenger, left the roadway, struck a utility pole and rolled over, police said.

The second vehicle, only occupied by the driver, then left the roadway and crashed in the wooded area off the street, police said.
It's unclear what caused the crash.

Several passersby stopped and helped before first responders arrived. All three people were then treated at the scene and flown to Cooper University Hospital. Police didn't have immediate word on their conditions.
