3 Nabbed In Family Dollar, CVS Burglaries In South Jersey
Three South Jersey residents, including one teen, were arrested in a pair of robberies that took place hours apart, police said.
FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Three South Jersey residents, including one teen, were arrested in two unrelated robberies at Franklin Township stores that took place hours apart from each other earlier this month, authorities said.
Armando Gomez, 49, and Elizabeth Rosario, 28, both of Vineland, were charged on Monday afternoon during a motor vehicle stop after they left a North Vineland trailer, Franklin Township police said in a statement.
Gomez was charged with armed robbery, simply assault and shoplifting. He was committed to the Salem County Correctional Facility pending a detention hearing. Rosario was charged with shoplifting and released pending a court date.

The charges stem from a robbery that took place on June 11 at Family Dollar (14 West Boulevard) in Newfield at 4 p.m., police said.
Gomez reportedly brandished a handgun at Family Dollar and fled the scene towards Vineland in a dark-colored Lexus, police said.

A 18-year-old was charged in an unrelated robbery at around 10:48 p.m. at the Malaga CVS (2037 West Blvd.) police said, in which a group of unknown men confronted a shopper, assaulting and robbing him, police said.
Sebastian Gonzalez, 18, of Vineland, was arrested Friday in Vineland and charged with robbery and simple assault, police said. He was released pending an appearance in court.
