3 Timber Creek Alumni Selected To NFL Teams On Draft Weekend
Tarheeb Still will go from the Timber Creek Chargers to the LA Chargers, while the Ravens will give Devin Leary and Deion Jennings a shot.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Three former Timber Creek High School football players made it to the pros during NFL Draft weekend.
Cornerback Tarheeb Still is going from the Timber Creek Chargers to the Los Angeles Chargers, getting selected in the fifth round with the 137th overall pick. Meanwhile, quarterback Devin Leary and linebacker Deion Jennings joined the Ravens. Baltimore selected Leary in the sixth round and signed Jennings as an undrafted free agent.
Still grew up in Sicklerville and lettered in football, basketball, and track and field at Timber Creek. On the gridiron, he became Defensive Back MVP at the 2019 Nike Football Opening Regional-New Jersey and broke the school record for most receiving yards in a season with 1,541 off 71 catches. With the University of Maryland last year, he capped his career with five interceptions — sixth in the nation.

Jennings, meanwhile, played cornerback and wide receiver for the Chargers, helping Timber Creek win the NJSIAA South Jersey, Group 4 Championship. In each of the past two seasons, he led Rutgers University in tackles and tied the school record with 58 games played.
