40 Shots Fired On NJ Block; Teen, Woman Hospitalized: Police
The shooting took place early Sunday morning and injured at least two, police said.
MILLVILLE, NJ - A Sunday morning shooting in a South Jersey city involved 40 shots fired and injured a 14-year-old girl and a 36-year-old woman, authorities said.
At around 4:45 a.m., Millville police responded to the 500 block of N 6th Street for a report of multiple gunshots fired in the city, Millville Police Chief Ross Hoffman told Patch.
At the scene, officers found a 14-year-old girl struck in the chest by the gunfire and a 36-year-old female struck in the leg, Hoffman said.

The 14-year-old was taken to Cooper and is in stable condition; the 36-year-old woman was treated at Inspira Vineland and released, Hoffman said.
“We are continuing to investigate the incident and ask anyone with information to contact us at 856-825-7010,” Hoffman said.
