CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — Are you saving that chicken wing? Plenty of pets at Homeward Bound Animal Shelter would like a sniff of what you're cooking up for Super Bowl Sunday.

The county's shelter in Blackwood is offering adoptions of all animals for $7 from Tuesday through Sunday, Feb. 12 to celebrate the Philadelphia Eagles making the Super Bowl again.

The animal shelter chose the price for Haason Reddick, Eagles all-pro linebacker (jersey #7) and a Camden native. There is even a dog named Reddick at the shelter, officials said.

“There are dozens of dogs and cats at the shelter who are in desperate need of finding a forever home,” said Commissioner Jon Young, liaison to the animal shelter. “This is a wonderful opportunity to not only celebrate our football team making it to the Super Bowl again, but to open your hearts and your homes to a new pet in need. So please, consider coming down to the shelter this week and making an addition of unconditional love to your family.”

The shelter is located at 125 County House Road in Blackwood. Click here to see adoptable cats and dogs.
