It wasn't immediately clear when the eatery would begin operations. But Asad's teased its upcoming opening last week on social media:

Founded in Philadelphia by city native Asad Khan, Asad's bills itself as "Philadelphia's first hot chicken joint." As Nashville-style hot chicken becomes more prevalent throughout the region, Asad's has opened 10 locations in the area.

Sicklerville's restaurant will mark the second location in South Jersey, with a Burlington eatery opening late last year.

42 Freeway first reported the restaurant planned in Sicklerville.

Menu items include Nashville-style hot chicken sliders, tenders, smoothies, and fries loaded with melted cheese, chopped chicken tenders, and Asad's sauce. Asad's also prides itself in being a halal restaurant.
