Nashville-style hot chicken has been spreading throughout Greater Philadelphia, and so has Asad's Hot Chicken. Founded by city native Asad Khan, the chain now lists 10 locations listed on its website — not including Sicklerville — with others on the way.

Asad's bills itself as "Philadelphia's first hot chicken joint." Customers can get chicken sliders, tenders and wraps with pickles, coleslaw, Asad's sauce and other fixings.

The restaurants have five different levels of spice: no spice, mild, hot, extra hot and scorchin'. Loaded fries, milkshakes and fruit smoothies are also available.

Sicklerville's restaurant will mark the second Asad's restaurant in South Jersey, with a Burlington eatery opening late last year. It will be located at 542 Berlin-Cross Keys Rd. — in the Winslow Plaza.
