Biker Seriously Injured In Gloucester Twp. Crash: Authorities
Police are seeking witnesses of the collision between an electric bike and a car.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A person was thrown off their electric bike and seriously injured in a crash Saturday in Gloucester Township, police said.
It happened around 11:40 a.m. at the intersection of Lower Landing Road and the Black Horse Pike.
The biker had been traveling on the sidewalk and entered the intersection, officials said. A sedan then collided with them, which flung them off their bike, police said.

First responders treated the biker at the scene and brought them to the hospital for serious injuries.
Police have not revealed identifying information of anyone involved.

Lower Landing Road was closed for several hours as police examined the crash scene.
The crash remains under investigation, and no criminal charges have been announced as of Monday morning.

"Safety Reminder: The Gloucester Township Police Department urges all roadway users, whether operating a vehicle, motorcycle, or electric bike, to remain vigilant, obey all traffic signals, and exercise extra caution at intersections. All bike riders are encouraged to wear helmets, use reflective gear, and ensure their lights are working properly to enhance visibility. Road safety is a shared responsibility, and attentive driving and riding can help prevent serious injuries and save lives."
