Black Horse Pike Schools Launch Winter Clothing Drive

Community members can donate clothes to those in need at the main entrance of each high school.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Black Horse Pike Regional School District’s Winter Clothing Drive is underway, district officials announced.

The district is accepting gently used hats, gloves, socks, hoodies and coats through Nov. 19.Clothes can be dropped off at the main entrance of each of the district’s high schools:

Highland Regional High School, 450 Erial Road in the Blackwood section of the township;
Timber Creek Regional High School, 501 Jarvis Road in the Sicklerville section of the township; and
Triton Regional High School, 250 Schubert Avenue in Runnemede.

At Highland, a pizza party will be thrown for the team that makes the most donations on Oct. 1.

“We have the Air Force Jr. ROTC cadets, Job Transition II Special Education students, other student volunteers, parent volunteers, and student-athletes all contributing to what we hope is a successful way to help those in need,” Black Horse Pike Regional School District Superintendent Brian Repici said.

The district is collaborating with the Home & School Councils for the drive, which kicked off on Thursday.
