Bobby Ray's Black Horse Tavern Opens In Camden County

After years in the making, the new Bobby Ray's held its soft opening on Thursday.

MOUNT EPHRAIM, NJ — After years in the making, Bobby Ray's Black Horse Tavern has opened in Mount Ephraim.

The bar and restaurant held its soft opening Thursday and shared an opening menu featuring appetizers, burgers, craft beer and more.

Originally, Bobby Ray Harris opened Bobby Ray's Pennsauken Tavern. Efforts to expand into Mount Ephraim began several years ago, with hopes to open in summer 2021. Although launching the new tavern took longer than expected, the Black Horse Tavern finally reached opening day.

For the soft opening, Bobby Ray's Black Horse Tavern is open from 11 a.m. to midnight Thursday. It will operate from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Bobby Ray's Black Horse Tavern is located at 13 S Black Horse Pike, Mount Ephraim.
