Books for Kids Holiday Campaign Needs Your Help

The campaign is nearing a milestone and needs help to get over the top.

The Camden County Library System was less than 200 books short of its goal of 2,000 books to distribute to needy kids over the holidays as of last Wednesday.

"We’ve been collecting new and used books in good condition that the Camden County Department of Children’s Services will distribute to kids in need of books for the holidays," said Mark Amorosi, from the county library system. "Our goal is to get more than 2,000 books, and any books beyond this number will be welcome too."

The drive ends on Wednesday, so time is running out.
