Woman Tried To Hire Hitman To Kill Officer She Dated, His Daughter: Camden Co. Prosecutor
She met a man on Tinder and tried to pay him $12K for the killings, authorities said. He alerted law enforcement about the alleged plot.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Camden County woman was arrested Friday after authorities say she tried to hire a man she met on a dating app to kill a Philadelphia police officer she had previously dated and his daughter.
Jaclyn Diiorio offered to pay a confidential informant $12,000 to murder the officer — her ex-boyfriend — and his teenage daughter, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.
The prosecutor's office says it learned about the murder-for-hire plot on Thursday. One day later, Diiorio met with the informant in the parking lot of a business on the Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township, where she was arrested, authorities said.

Diiorio, 26, of Runnemede, was charged attempted murder (first-degree), conspiracy to commit murder (first-degree) and possession of a controlled dangerous substance (third-degree). The suspect's purse also contained Xanax pills she wasn't prescribed, authorities said.
The suspect identified herself to the informant as "D" after meeting him through Tinder, a dating app, according to court documents Patch obtained.

After exchanging messages, they met each other on March 31 at a Wawa in Runnemede, authorities said. Diiorio and the information exchanged texts and phone calls over the next few days. During these conversations, Diiorio told the informant that she wanted her ex-boyfriend — an officer in his 50s — and his daughter killed, according to court documents.
The informant spoke with the prosecutor's office on Thursday and shared photos from Diiorio's Tinder profile. On Friday morning, the informant provided a selfie of the suspect in her car that she had sent him, authorities said.
Investigators spoke to the Philadelphia officer, who confirmed that Diiorio was his ex-girlfriend who he met when she was his barber. He told authorities that he broke up with her on March 6.
Diiorio filed a temporary restraining order in August, but it was later dropped, authorities said.
The officer told investigators that his home was vandalized with a Molotov cocktail in September, according to court documents. But it's unclear who was responsible or whether authorities ever investigated the incident.
Diiorio and the informant met Friday evening in the parking lot of a store on the 1300 block of Black Horse Pike. The informant was wearing a wire when they discussed the murder-for-hire plot inside her vehicle, authorities said.
The suspect offered to pay $12,000, but the informant said she could provide $500 and pay the rest in installments, according to an affidavit.
Diiorio demanded the informant's driver's license, which he gave her in exchange for the $500 down payment, authorities said. Gloucester Township police arrested her right after.
She was jailed in the Camden County Correctional Facility. A detention hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
Diiorio's listed attorney was unavailable for comment.
