CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — While homicide numbers in Camden County have been on the decline in recent years, they haven’t reached zero, Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer said in a recent video put out by the prosecutor’s office.

This weekend, the prosecutor’s office will host its inaugural “Shine Their Light Walk” to highlight the impact these crimes have had on the victims’ loved ones, the prosecutor’s office announced.

"Losing a loved one in such a tragic way is unimaginable," Mayer said. "It's our hope that we can ease some of that pain by bringing people together who've experienced this same kind of loss."
