Car Crashes Into Swimming Pool In Gloucester Township: Police

A driver crashed their car into an in-ground pool at a Gloucester Township home Monday afternoon.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A driver crashed their car into an in-ground pool at a Gloucester Township home Monday afternoon, according to police.

The car was traveling north on Roosevelt Avenue when it struck a parked car, left the road, traveled through two backyards and into a swimming pool, Gloucester Township police said Monday night. The driver was able to escape the car on their own, suffering minor injuries, police said.

Chews Landing / Blackwood Station Engine 88 and EMS responded to the scene. Camden County Office of Emergency Management and Gloucester Township Office of Emergency Management responded for hazmat concerns.
