GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township is quickly approaching the most wonderful time of the year.
The township has several Christmas traditions old and new. Here are a few events coming up.
Christmas Market

Dec. 7, 5-8 p.m. at Harwan Park (Black Horse Pike)
The market will feature festive crafts, shopping and hot chocolate, with live music and food trucks on hand for the celebration. Neighborhood Preservation Program and Mystic Ginger are hosting. More info.

Attendees will be able to catch the end of the Blackwood Fire Company's Christmas Parade.
Christmas Parade
Dec. 7, 6 p.m. in Downtown Blackwood
The Blackwood Fire Company is hosting its 35th annual parade.
The parade begins at Sam's Bar and Grill (1007 S Black Horse Pike) and travels to the Blackwood Fire Co. headquarters (S Black Horse Pike and Central Avenue). More info.
Christmas Village
Dec. 14, 3-9 p.m. at Veterans Park
Veterans Park will turn into a holiday wonderland during the third-annual Christmas Village.
An outdoor holiday market will feature Christmas décor, gifts, Christmas trees and jewelry. Santa will arrive for photos, and free rides on the carousel and Dizzy Dragons will be available.
The celebration also features live music, food trucks and free hot chocolate and cookies.
In keeping with tradition, Mainstage choir will perform at 6 p.m., followed by the township's annual tree lighting at 6:30 p.m.
