CLEMENTON, NJ — Clementon Park & Splash World planned to open for the unofficial beginning of summer, but the forecast wasn't so summery.

The combination water park and amusement park announced Thursday that it would postpone its opening by a week because of cooler temperatures in the forecast for Memorial Day weekend.

"Due to cooler temperatures impacting our water attractions, we've made the decision to postpone our Opening Day to Saturday, May 31st to ensure the best possible experience for all our guests," the business said on social media.

But Clementon Park says the fun isn't postponed — it's just moving indoors. For this weekend only, season pass holders can enjoy Sahara Sam's, an indoor water park in West Berlin.

If you purchased daily tickets for this weekend, Clementon Park will let you use them any day during the 2025 season.
