Coastal Flood Threat Increases In South Jersey As Storm Moves In
Areas near shorelines and tidal waterways, such as the Delaware River, could experience 1-2 feet of inundation.

SOUTH JERSEY — Heavy rain, damaging winds, and hazardous travel conditions are all on the table in South Jersey as a fierce storm is slated to hit the Garden State Tuesday night, and create travel difficulties on Wednesday.
A coastal flood warning is in place for Gloucester, Camden and northwestern Burlington counties from 9 p.m. Tuesday until 3 p.m. Wednesday.
The region carries a "moderate risk" of excessive rainfall Tuesday that could lead to rapid-onset flooding, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). The weather service expects the precipitation and gusty winds to carry into Wednesday.
