Crave Cookies Opens In Gloucester Twp., As Fresh-Baked Rivalry With Crumbl Heats Up In NJ
Crave and Crumbl are no longer fighting in court, but South Jersey is becoming a battleground in the 'cookie wars.'
SICKLERVILLE, NJ — Crave Cookies opened last week in Gloucester Township, continuing to expand its South Jersey presence as fellow Utah-based competitor Crumbl Cookies does the same.
The new location (629 Berlin-Cross Keys Rd., Sicklerville) marks Crave's second shop in the Garden State.
Crave Cookies offers an array of fresh treats with a menu that changes each week. Crumbl — also founded in Utah — does the same, which pitted both companies in a legal battle that became known as the "cookie wars."

Crumbl sued Crave and several other Utah cookie companies last year, claiming copyright infringement of its rotating menu model, products and packaging. In July, both Crave and Crumbl agreed to a confidential settlement.
Although the litigation is behind them, the cookie competition may not cool off anytime soon. Crave opened a Deptford shop in late October, marking its first New Jersey location.
