Early Curfew for Weekend, Halloween
Police also offer tips for Mischief Night and Halloween candy.
Police have implemented a juvenile curfew of 7 p.m. for Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights in an attempt to curb Halloween weekend vandalism.
The curfew applies to anyone under 18 years old who is not accompanied by an adult "having custody, care or control of the juvenile," according to a notice issued by Gloucester Township Police.
Trick-or-treating hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Monday.

Police offer the following tips to residents to protect their properties on Mischief Night (Sunday night):
- Park your car in the garage and secure the vehicle and garage doors
- Leave your house lights on, especially exterior lights
- Stay home
- Lock up your valuables
- Put away children’s yard toys
- Lock your car doors
- Call police dispatch at 856-228-4500 if you see anything suspicious or 911 for an emergency
Police offer the following tips to residents regarding Halloween candy their children may collect while trick-or-treating on Monday:

- Instruct children to not open their candy until they return home
- Inspect all candy for tampering before allowing children to eat it
- Accept only wrapped and packaged candy
- Never eat fruit or other unwrapped items
- Throw away any candy or food that is not wrapped tightly by the candy company
- If you should find an object in a piece of candy or find anything unusual about it, immediately call police dispatch at 856-228-4500.
