Family-Owned Jamaican Restaurant Opens In Gloucester Twp.

The Spot features Jamaican classics including jerk chicken, curry goat and plantains.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — There's a new restaurant serving up Jamaican cuisine in Gloucester Township.

The Spot celebrated its grand opening this week. Led by owner Rudolph Bennett, the Bennett family's menu stems from multi-generational family recipes.

Selections include island classics such as jerk chicken, curry goat and oxtails — plus a range of sides like Jamaican beef patties, plantains and coco bread.

The Spot is open six days a week, closing on Mondays. It's located at 1571 Blackwood-Clementon Rd.
