GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Inspired by their travels to Japan, a father and son developed a store for fans of anime, manga and the nation's array of influential media.

Larry and Connor Hackett have brought the Japanese shopping experience back home, opening Akihabara Bazaar in Gloucester Township. The store held its grand opening on Sunday, following a soft launch in late August.

Akihabara Bazaar touts an array of products from both hit and niche Japanese franchises, with shelves of collectibles, figures and more.
